 Where do you live? With whom do you interact? If you were attacked what would you defend?

 I believe that humans are in essence social animals, that community is as vital a part of our existence as is the blood that flows through our veins. How long could you survive completely removed form your fellow humans? Could you feed yourself? Shelter yourself? Remain sane?

  Still some of the most important, joyful, frightening and all around best times that I have had have been experiences deeply tied with the community I was interacting with. The past two summers I have spent a week in the white mountains at Camp Dodge maintaining hiking trails with other folks crazy enough to spend their vacations doing back breaking work. One summer I lived at Yawgoog and worked in the kitchen. For a time I lived as a part of a vital artist community, The Worcester Artist Group, better know simply as WAG, and worked as the technical director of the performance space there. The summer of 1996 I did a coast to cost tour singing for a punk rock band the dirtbombs. Four guys living together in a van is a damn tight community perhaps too much so and since then I've kinda burnt out and found myself to be living a more solitary life. However I find that increasingly dissatisfying and am searching for people with who I can work with in some way or another.
